We tend to focus on what we don’t want. Sometimes it can feel like we are just coping with life rather than living it. As caregivers, we tend to put others’ needs ahead of our own. Let’s take a look at our thoughts and beliefs to examine if they are telling the story that we actually agree with, or if we are re-telling an old, worn-out story that needs a new dialogue! Let’s grab onto our Personal Point of Power - our response to events that happen in our lives and choose the response that will best serve us. By retraining the conscious and sub-conscious mind – which produce up to 60,000 thoughts per day – we can retrieve our personal power, relieve poor habits and bad memories from the past that keep us stuck in a conditioned response, and make positive changes in our lives.
